Monday, September 26th, 2033: Craig Whacks 3 Out-of-the-Park for New York!
It was a good day for New York and an exceptional day for Brandon Craig. The 33-year-old first baseman sent 3 bombs out of the park to help the Mets beat the Anaheim Angels 12-11 at Shea Stadium.

Following the game, he was asked about his performance. "When you're in the zone, the game really slows down," Craig commented, "I couldn't even tell you what pitches were thrown. Today feels great, but it is a long season and tomorrow is another day."

For the day he scored 3 times, drove in 3 runs and smacked 3 hits in 3 at-bats.

B. Craig hit a solo-shot off D. Hays in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off D. Hays in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off D. Hays in the 6th, walked in the 7th and walked in the 9th.

In 153 games this season Craig has batted at a .316 pace with 188 hits and 40 home runs.
Sunday, September 25th, 2033: Injury Forces José López Out
José López had to leave the Angels game against New York after suffering back spasms while making a defensive play. He will be out of the lineup at least 4 weeks. He told SION reporters, "I just felt a sharp pain when it happened. I knew there was something wrong."

Thus far in 2033 López has hit .310 with 15 home runs, 41 RBIs and scored 50 runs.
Sunday, September 11th, 2033: Luciano Goes 5-5
If the Baltimore Orioles know how best to pitch the Anaheim second baseman Marco Luciano they didn't tip their hand today. Instead Luciano showed he knew how best to hit them as he easily handled Orioles pitching, going 5 for 5 and helping the Angels to a 12-9 triumph at Edison International Field.

He told SION reporters in the postgame interview, "The way I was swinging today, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball."

The Baltimore skipper quipped, "Well, the next time we may just do that...blindfold him...and then pitch him differently, just to be sure."

M. Luciano hit an RBI double in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run single in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 6th and hit a two-run single in the 7th.

This year Luciano is batting .337 with 176 hits, 29 home runs, 115 RBIs, 46 walks, .402 OBP and has scored 118 runs.
