| Breaking News |  | Friday, July 16th, 2032: Mae Nabs SL2 Outstanding Hitter Award
2032's Outstanding Hitter Award has been chosen by the Sub League 2. This season's trophy was awarded to Dong-kwan Mae, the gifted Arkadelphia first baseman.
In 58 games he terrorized SL2 hurlers, finishing up the year with a .447 batting average, 109 hits, 6 home runs, 46 RBIs, .483 OBP and 50 runs scored.
This weekend Mae will be honored by the SION Baseball Writers Association at its annual awards dinner.

 | Friday, July 16th, 2032: Stark Selected SL1's Best Hitter
Jim Stark, the outstanding Bremerton center fielder, certainly made a name for himself in the Sub League 1 this season. He made a great impression on league pitchers with a .416 batting average, 102 hits, 5 home runs, 52 RBIs, .473 OBP and 55 runs scored.
That kind of hitting earned him the SL1 Outstanding Hitter Award for 2032.
This weekend the SBWA will host its annual awards dinner and all of the major winners will be there to receive their trophies for their outstanding achievements this past season.

 | Thursday, July 15th, 2032: González Voted SL2 Outstanding Pitcher Award
The Sub League 2 announced the winner of the Outstanding Pitcher Award for 2032.
It went to Roberto González of Riverside for his standout 8-1 won-lost mark this season.
He made 11 starts and rang up 85.1 innings, 53 strikeouts, 2.95 ERA and held others teams to a .276 batting average.
The SBWA will honor all of the award winners this weekend at its annual meeting.
