Last month was a very good one for Cal Quantrill of Anaheim. So good that he has been picked as the Pitcher of the Month in the American.
Quantrill throttled league hitters the entire month, completing September with an impressive 4-1 mark and a 2.55 ERA in 5 starts with 24 strikeouts in 35.1 innings.

 | Monday, September 11th, 2034: Great Stroke! Moore Gets 5 Hits!
It was high-5 day at Comiskey Park II, at least for David Moore of the Chicago White Sox. He got a lot of high-5's from his teammates for his outstanding hitting against the Anaheim Angels. Moore smashed 5 hits in 6 at-bats on a his record-setting day, leading his club to a 19-8 win.
His manager said, "David was hitting everything. It really was a special game for him."
In the other dugout the opposing manager told SION beat writers, "He ambushed my boys today. Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but luckily, tomorrow is another day. Hopefully it will be our day to shine."
D. Moore doubled in the 2nd, hit an RBI triple in the 4th, struck out in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off J. Travis in the 7th, singled in the 8th and hit a solo-shot off J. Travis in the 9th.
In 2034 Moore is currently batting .609 with 6 home runs and 14 RBIs. In 6 games he has reached base at a .654 rate and scored 10 runs to date.

The White Sox David Moore had one of the best days of his career today, when he hit for the cycle and paved the way for the Chicago 19-8 win over the Anaheim Angels. He shelled them for 5 hits in 6 at-bats, hit for the cycle and collected 4 runs batted in and scored 5 runs. The game was played at Comiskey Park II.
