Breaking News |  | Saturday, May 21st, 2033: Díaz Bangs Out 5 Base Hits Juan Díaz put on a hitting clinic today as the Expos dumped the Marlins 12-7 at Labatt Stadium. The Montreal first baseman sprayed hits all over the ballpark by lashing Floride pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats in the game.
He told SION reporters after the game, that he just hit it where they pitched it. "Too often I try to pull the ball too much. Today I just went with the pitch."
J. Díaz singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, doubled in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, walked in the 9th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
