Amed Rosario of San Francisco apparently doesn't as he peppered Los Angeles with a 5-hit outburst in today's game. He got the hits, but lost the game. The Dodgers pulled out a 14-13 win.
He told the press after the game, "And I didn't even take BP today. I think I have been taking too many swings before game and decided to take a day off. Wow, this was really something... a 5 for 5 day... will my name be in the record books now?"
One of his teammates hollered out, "No, only if your team wins the game!"
A. Rosario singled in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off A. García in the 9th.

The reason -- the splendid slugger John Hardin hit his 300th career homer in today's contest at Dodger Stadium.
"I'm fortunate to be here," Hardin told the media after the game. "The Dodgers have a classy organization and some great fans. Homer #300 was for them."
In his 1350-game career Hardin is batting .312 with 335 doubles, 30 triples, 300 home runs and 1052 RBIs.
