Saturday, September 18th, 2027: New York's Carter Out 2-3 Months
"It was kinda freaky. Hopefully, I'll be back in the lineup soon," said a dejected Chris Carter after injuring himself in a game against Toronto. The New York manager told SION reporters, "He will miss up to 2-3 months with a fractured ulna." The Mets will have to decide over the next day or two whether the left fielder will go on the disabled list.
To date Carter has chalked up a .271 average with 33 home runs, driven in 93 runs and scored 84 times.
Wednesday, September 15th, 2027: New York, Nieuwenhuis Agree on 3-Year Extension

Friday, September 3rd, 2027: High-5s for Carramza! Goes 5-6!
It was a sensational day at the plate for Félix Carramza as he led the charge to a 15-13 win over the Mets.
The Anaheim second baseman was pure misery for the New York pitching staff. He left them shellshocked with 5 hits in 6 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting.
The manager for the Mets told SION reporters after the game, "Carramza put the ball into play. He really hit it hard. When you do that, you've got a pretty good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some pretty good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball."
F. Carramza singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, walked in the 8th, hit a two-run single in the 8th and hit a two-run home run off D. Barnes in the 10th.
A look at his 2027 stats shows Carramza with a .353 average, 24 home runs, 103 RBIs and 124 runs scored. He has played in 127 games.
