Friday, October 1st, 2027: Renfroe Crushes 3 Homers Against New York
In the Anaheim 12-11 win over New York, Hunter Renfroe was in a home run mode. He tortured the Mets, cracking out three home runs and going 4-5 with 4 RBIs and scoring 4 runs.

"When you're hot, you're hot," said a grinning Renfroe at the SION postgame press conference.

"I got some good pitches to hit and got a good swing going today. I cannot believe it happened. I was like, 'I don't know what I'm doing.' It was one of the better days in my baseball career. I was on cloud nine out there and I was enjoying it."

H. Renfroe hit a solo-shot off C. Guerrero in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off H. Robles in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off R. Gómez in the 8th.

This season Renfroe is batting .364 with 162 hits, 35 home runs, 109 RBIs, .443 OBP and has scored 91 runs.
Tuesday, September 21st, 2027: Guzmán on Top of His Game
José Guzmán allowed 5 hits while giving up 1 walk and collecting 3 strikeouts as New York blanked New York 2-0.

In the postgame interview Guzmán said, "I'm trying to keep the ball down and let guys put it in play. It worked for me today."

So far this year Guzmán has a 9-8 record with a 4.66 ERA.
Saturday, September 18th, 2027: New York's Carter Out 2-3 Months
"It was kinda freaky. Hopefully, I'll be back in the lineup soon," said a dejected Chris Carter after injuring himself in a game against Toronto. The New York manager told SION reporters, "He will miss up to 2-3 months with a fractured ulna." The Mets will have to decide over the next day or two whether the left fielder will go on the disabled list.

To date Carter has chalked up a .271 average with 33 home runs, driven in 93 runs and scored 84 times.
