Breaking News |  | Thursday, April 25th, 2030: Harper on Fire, 5-5 Against Pittsburgh Wayne Harper really sizzled at the plate today. The Montreal catcher blistered the Pittsburgh Pirates for 5 hits in 5 at-bats in his club's 13-6 defeat.
"Harper was too tough to get out today," the Pirates skipper said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too. But hey, I don't mind if every game somebody gets 5 hits off us, as long as we win. That's the bottom line. We ain't playin' for stats."

Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 26-year-old left fielder said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this."
Y. Alvarez flied out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off M. Beauregard in the 5th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 9th and hit a solo-shot off D. Griffith in the 9th.
