Monday, September 25th, 2034: Rangel 5-5 for Indians
It was a hits blitz for Tomás Rangel at Jacobs Field. The Cleveland Indians first baseman tore into Cincinnati for 5 hits in 5 at-bats to pace Indians to a 11-5 victory and wrote his name into the baseball record book.

The manager for the Reds bemoaned his pitching, saying, "We fell behind and weren't locating well. Once you get behind in the count, you have to make real good pitches, rather than good pitches, and we weren't able to do that today." He added, "Not to take anything away from Rangel, but bad location was the story of the ballgame. That's why we lost the game."

T. Rangel doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 7th.

This season Rangel has hit at a .304 clip with 83 RBIs, 7 home runs and 98 runs scored. He has played in 149 games.
Sunday, September 24th, 2034: Ouch! Justin Webb Shelved by Injury
Watching Justin Webb getting helped off the field today at Jacobs Field, fans of the Cleveland Indians feared the worst. The news wasn't quite as bad as initially feared, but the center fielder will miss 6-7 weeks with a torn thigh muscle. "We feel we've dodged a bullet. When you see a guy break down like that, you worry right away," a team spokesman said. Webb suffered the injury running the bases in the game against the Braves.

So far this year Webb is hitting .290 with 48 home runs.
Friday, September 22nd, 2034: Cleveland Center Fielder Injured
"It was kinda freaky. Hopefully, I'll be back in the lineup soon," said a dejected Brian Cooper after injuring himself in a game against Atlanta. The Cleveland manager told SION reporters, "He will miss up to 2 weeks with a strained calf muscle." The Indians will have to decide over the next day or two whether the center fielder will go on the disabled list.

Looking at his stats this year, Cooper has compiled a .287 batting average, while hitting 6 home runs and driving in 29 runs. He has played in 104 games and scored 67 runs.
