Sunday, September 17th, 2034: Hicks Rumored to be Unhappy in Minnesota
It appears to be only a rumor, but earlier today, fans around Minnesota were buzzing with the news that their 29-year old right fielder Dick Hicks had been asking for a trade. "I couldn't imagine him saying bad things about Minnesota or wanting to leave." said one person.
Tuesday, September 12th, 2034: New York Whitewashes Minnesota
The Minnesota Twins were almost helpless today in their 1-0 loss to New York hurler Ira Buck. He kept them confused the entire ballgame and spun a 3-hit shutout.

The Minnesota manager said in the postgame interview, "Tip your hat to Buck. He kept us off balance all night."

Buck said, "It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play. It was just one of those games that things went my way."

He had 3 walks and 4 strikeouts in a strong performance.

This year Buck has gone 10-9 with an ERA of 6.27 and has 93 strikeouts in 146.1 innings.
