Sunday, July 1st, 2035: Kwan Wins June's Rookie Award
When all of the votes were counted for the Rookie of the Month in June, Steven Kwan of the New York Yankees was on top of the pile. The standout center fielder rifled hits here, there and everywhere in American ballparks the entire month to win the honor.

The 23-year-old center fielder took the trophy by putting up a .324 average and .357 on-base percentage, 35 hits, 5 home runs, 15 RBIs and 20 runs scored.

This season in 74 games Kwan is batting .268 with 10 home runs, 33 RBIs and has scored 42 times.
Saturday, June 9th, 2035: Yankees Right Fielder Hurt
Brian Anderson had to leave the Yankees game against Toronto after suffering a damaged meniscus while making a defensive play. He will be out of the lineup at least 3 weeks. He told SION reporters, "I just felt a sharp pain when it happened. I knew there was something wrong."

This season Anderson is swinging the bat at a .292 rate with 61 hits in 209 at-bats. To date he has hit 23 home runs, scored 52 runs and driven in 60.
Friday, May 25th, 2035: Anderson Socks 400-th HR
At Yankee Stadium II Brian Anderson smashed his 400th career home run in a game against Chicago today. The 33-year-old right fielder had a hand in the New York Yankees 10-6 victory with 1 home run and 1 run batted in. For the day he went 1 hit-4 at-bats.

At the press conference after the game, Anderson downplayed his achievement.

"Obviously, I've hit 400 home runs so I belong in that 400 Club. But when you talk about the other guys that have done it, I'm not as good as they were. Those guys were the greatest of all time. I've just been able to scrape together some good years and stayed healthy and gotten there."

His career stats show that Anderson has batted .310 and connected for 400 home runs.
