Monday, September 19th, 2022: Mark Bentley Will Miss 1-2 Weeks
The Cardinals received bad news this morning. Mark Bentley will miss 1-2 weeks due to a damaged meniscus. In the St. Louis-Baltimore game he sustained the injury while throwing a pitch. "I'm disappointed more than anything," he told reporters later in the day. "You can't help your team on the bench," Bentley sighed. "I'll do the rehab work and hope for a quick recovery."

This season Bentley has compiled a 20-3 record with a 3.52 ERA.
